He governeth 30 Legions of Spirits, and this is his Seal, etc.”
From Tikaboo
“Leraje (or Leraie) is a Marquis Great in Power, showing himself in the likeness of an Archer clad in Green, and carrying a Bow and Quiver. He causeth all great Battles and Contests; and maketh wounds to putrefy that are made with Arrows by Archers. This belongeth unto Sagittary. He governeth 30 Legions of Spirits.”
From the Luciferian Goetia by Michael Ford
“He appears as a green clad archer, while sometimes in some older military uniform which appears to be of the civil war area. In an initiatory sense, Lerajae is very useful in directing ones desired goals and making them reality. For instance, one would summon Lerajae when one wants to obtain a specific goal i.e. job, trip, item, etc. The archer as he is known is useful in the sense of ‘hitting the mark’.”
From the Daemonolatry Goetia by S. Connolly
“Aside from general expectation magicks, you can seek the wisdom of Leraje during conflicts in order to resolve them. Leraje also gives good counsel to those seeking help on relationships with difficult people.”
FROM THE “PSEUDOMONARCHIA DAEMONUM” ( 1583 ) WRITTEN BY JOHANN WEYER (JOHANN WIER)
Leraie [Loray], alias Oray, a great marquesse, shewing himselfe in the likenesse of a galant [handsome] archer, carrieng a bowe and a quiver, he is author of all battels, he dooth putrifie all such wounds as are made with arrowes by archers, Quos optimos objicit tribus diebus, [who best drives away mobs from the days (?)] and he hath regiment over thirtie legions.
Original Text: Loray, alias Oray, magnus Marchio, se ostendens in forma sagittarii pulcherrimi, pharetram and arcum gestantis: author existit omnium præliorum, and vulnera putrefacit quæ à sagittariis infliguntur, quos objicit optimos tribus diebus. Triginta dominatur legionibus.
FROM THE “DICTIONNAIRE INFERNAL” (EDITION OF 1863 ) WRITTEN BY JACQUES AUGUSTE SIMON COLLIN DE PLANCY
Original Text :
Leraie: The fourteenth demon of the Goetia. The name of this demon appears in many forms, depending on the source consulted. In Wierus’s Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, his name is given as Loray. The same text suggests that he is sometimes also known as Oray. In Scot’s Discoverie of Witchcraft, the name of this demon is spelled Leraie, which is curious, considering Scot was merely translating Wierus’s Pseudomonarchia. In the Goetia of Dr. Rudd, the name is given as Leraic, while elsewhere in manuscripts attributed to Dr. Rudd (including the Treatise on Angel Magic), it is spelled variously Leraje and Leraye and Leraiel. By the time it gets to Steve Savedow’s Goetic Evocation, the name is spelled Leriakhe. Despite the confusion on the spelling of his name, almost all sources agree that this demon appears in the form of an archer, complete with a bow and a quiver full of arrows. He is a martial demon with the power to putrefy all wounds made by arrows. He is also said to instigate battles. He holds the rank of marquis and has a regiment of thirty legions at his command. In the Goetia of Dr. Rudd, he is called Leraic, and he is constrained by the angel Mebahel.
